Position Summary

The Cocktail Server Model at Delilah is responsible for delivering an exceptional luxury beverage experience while serving as an ambassador of the venue's distinctive atmosphere, elegance, and energy. This role provides personalized cocktail service to guests in a refined dining and nightlife environment, combining Forbes Five-Star service standards with a polished, engaging presence.

The Cocktail Server Model creates memorable guest experiences through attentive service, expert beverage knowledge, and proactive anticipation of guest needs while maintaining Delilah's sophisticated brand identity and Wynn's commitment to service excellence.

Key Responsibilities

Guest Experience & Luxury Service Delivery

• Deliver personalized, anticipatory service that exceeds guest expectations throughout the dining and lounge experience
• Create meaningful guest interactions through warmth, professionalism, and genuine hospitality
• Maintain a polished and confident presence that reflects the luxury positioning of Delilah and Wynn Las Vegas
• Anticipate guest preferences and proactively respond to requests with urgency and attention to detail
• Ensure guests feel welcomed, valued, and recognized from arrival through departure

Cocktail & Beverage Service

• Present beverage menus and make informed recommendations based on guest preferences and occasion
• Accurately take, enter, and deliver beverage orders while maintaining service timing standards
• Demonstrate extensive knowledge of spirits, cocktails, wine, champagne, and non-alcoholic offerings
• Possess complete knowledge of cocktail ingredients, preparation methods, presentation standards, garnishes, terminology, and designated glassware.
• Understand and confidently discuss wine and champagne selections, including wines by the glass and featured bottle offerings.
• Monitor guest beverage needs throughout service and provide timely follow-up

Guest Engagement & Relationship Building

• Establish rapport with guests while maintaining professionalism and discretion
• Recognize VIP guests, repeat clientele, and special occasions to personalize the experience
• Maintain awareness of guest satisfaction and respond immediately to service opportunities

Communication & Team Collaboration

• Maintain clear communication with team members and management
• Coordinate beverage service with dining room operations to ensure seamless guest experiences
• Communicate guest preferences, VIP information, and special requests to appropriate team members

Guest Relations & Service Recovery

• Address guest requests, concerns, and special accommodations with professionalism and urgency
• Support service recovery efforts in coordination with management when necessary
• Actively seek opportunities to enhance the guest experience

Operational Excellence

• Maintain cleanliness, organization, and readiness of assigned stations and service areas
• Accurately process guest transactions and follow cash-handling procedures
• Complete opening, running, and closing side work as assigned
• Attend pre-shift meetings to remain informed of VIP guests, special events, menu updates, and operational priorities
• Support venue presentation standards at all times

Compliance & Brand Standards

• Adhere to all Wynn grooming, appearance, and uniform standards
• Execute responsibilities in accordance with Wynn policies, departmental procedures, and Forbes Five-Star standards
• Represent the Wynn and Delilah brands with professionalism, integrity, and discretion

Qualifications

Qualifications

Education & Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Previous experience in a luxury restaurant, upscale nightlife venue, fine dining restaurant, or high-volume cocktail service environment preferred
• Experience delivering personalized guest service in a hospitality-focused setting preferred

• Candidates must be at least 21 years of age

Knowledge & Skills

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong cocktail, wine, champagne, and beverage knowledge preferred
• Ability to anticipate guest needs and provide proactive service
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to luxury service standards
• Ability to multitask and perform effectively in a fast-paced, high-energy environment
• Professional presence with strong guest engagement skills

Licenses & Certifications

• Must be able to obtain and maintain all required work cards, certifications, and licenses

Work Environment

• Luxury dining and nightlife venue within a Forbes Five-Star resort environment
• High-touch, guest-facing atmosphere requiring continuous guest interaction and engagement
• Fast-paced atmosphere with elevated service expectations and operational complexity
• Flexible schedule required, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and special events
